Kelsey Martin, B.S., B.A.

Graduate Research Assistant
Biography

Kelsey is a second-year student in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Genetics. She joined the lab in August 2025 after graduating with her B.A. in German and B.S. in Biology. She is broadly interested in understanding the genetic underpinnings of neurodevelopmental conditions, such as ADHD and ASD, with a current interest in the genetics of language, particularly the connections between language and neurodevelopmental disabilities. As someone with ADHD, neurodiversity is very important to her, as she works to figure out the stories connecting genetics and neurodevelopmental conditions. Outside of the lab, Kelsey enjoys watching TV, building Star Wars lego sets, spending time with friends, and hiking.
