Brady Hoskins is a Senior here at the University of Iowa. He is majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Military Science and certificate in Large Data Analysis. Currently, he is in the process of applying to graduate school seeking to become a Data Scientist with a concentration in predictive modeling in healthcare. He has a passion for helping others and wishes to advance disease diagnosis methods by utilizing the vast amounts of data collected in the medical community. He joined the Michaelson Lab to gain experience in machine learning and deep learning using various types of genetic data from images to amino acid sequences. This will be his fourth semester in the lab and is currently working on modeling protein-protein interactions related to ASD using deep learning models. Outside of academics, he enjoys hiking, playing golf, and traveling.
