Holly studied biomedical engineering on the bioinformatics track with a minor in computer science at UIowa. She joined the Michaelson lab to gain experience in research techniques, such as machine learning, and to strengthen her programming capabilities. In the lab and she worked to predict a cognitive score of a child based on NIH health measures. Outside of the lab, Holly held active participation in Theta Tau and Delta Delta Delta.
