Yongchao Huang graduated in May 2018 from university of Iowa with BS in Biomedical engineering focus tracking in bioinformatics and minor in computer science.
In 2018 Fall, he joined the lab as a master student to keep working on the research using facial morphology to discover the biological pathway of autism disorder and utilizing the bio-imaging tools to understand mental disorders. Since he was young, he had a strong interested in artificial intelligence and desire to understand the mechanisms of the brain, which later on guide him into the field of developing and utilizing the machine learning tools to understand and diagnose the mental disorder in close relationship with genetics. Learning through this field and applying his strength to healthcare industry is his future goal. Besides, in his spare time, he had tremendous enthusiasm in sports and music, especially in tennis and classical music.
